How much should I budget for the trip?
This covers travel and accommodation only. Medical costs are not included — these are set by the clinic and you will receive a written quote before making your decision.
The default figures are based on a 3-star hotel in the city clinic and a flight from Paris outside peak season. Feel free to adjust these as you wish.
Days to avoid
On Greek public holidays, notaries, government offices and banks are closed, and many businesses operate on reduced opening hours. If your arrival falls on a public holiday, you’ll lose a working day.

Where to stay
The city clinic is small and flat; everything is within a 20-minute walk. I haven’t listed medical clinics — the choice of clinic is up to you and we’ll discuss this.
City clinic — Aristotelous / White Tower
The most convenient option. Seafront, restaurants, chemists on every corner, taxis everywhere. Quiet streets one or two blocks back from the seafront.
Kalamaria
Quieter, by the sea, residential. 15 minutes by taxi from the city clinic. Ideal if you want to relax away from the hustle and bustle.
From ‘Makedonia’ Airport: the X1 bus to the city clinic runs every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day, and takes about 45 minutes. A taxi takes 20–25 minutes. I can meet you on arrival.
